Very cute game – lots of interaction – can ‘shut it off’ when you don’t feel like ‘babysitting’ anymore …

I bought this game for my eight year old grand. She was thrilled with the game. Her enjoyment has been sustained since she received it as a gift. She is able to read the directions and play without assistance.

Its a learning game….maybe they need to give this to young girls and boys who are thinking of sex…..It’s too long and it’s a lot of work….it was not FUN.

My daughter got this game for Christmas and loves it. But we are a little frustrated with it at this point. She made it all the way to 3 months with no problems, there were a few instructions that she didn’t understand but I just helped her with it and she was fine. But now at 3 months when she tries to give the baby a bath, it just shows an explanation point when she tries to use the washcloth, but there are no instructions telling us what this means and no way to get past it. I have deleted 3 profiles already and they all get stuck at the same point. I have sent an email to the manufacturer, and am hoping we will be able to resolve this.

Based on the other reviews, it seems this game has quite a few glitches that were never resolved before sending them out for consumers. I just hope there is a way to get past it because it really is cute game.

When we started the game it says to choose your language and it has three flags, an American flag, Great Britain and one other I can’t remember. You just touch the flag that you are from and it will start the game. But maybe they all have a point where they get stuck at and ours is at 3 months in the bathtub.

Fun game but not sure it’s worth risking the frustration it might cause.

I just received this game about 4 days ago from Amazon. I ordered it for my almost 4 year old daughter to play with the assistance of her 11 year old sister, of course. She loves this game sooo much. I do agree that the milestones and requirement for the baby to continue to age are difficult and at times absolutely frustrating, but she still loves it. My BIG problem is that we are in month 3 and I think the game is defective. The first time we gave the baby a bath, the sponge appeared and soap suds were on the baby, but it was the never ending bath (like something was wrong) we ended the workshop and now when we go in, the baby is crying and it will only allow us to give her a bath which it says she needs, but each time now we get NO sponge or soap. The larger cloth appears, lets you put lotion on it and then nothing……only baby crying and continually having to lift her from going under the water. Because of this over and over again, I deleted the entire profile to started from scratch and the same garbage again. I could overlook the poorly advertised and mis-informed difficulty level of the game as I have an older child to assist, but this bath issue is making me angry. I paid $30 for the game and 4 days later, no one wants to touch it b/c without getting through this bath, nothing can go forward again. I will be returning this to Amazon and will replace the game at my local Wal-Mart so that it’s easier to return if I get another dud. Is anyone else having a problem like this?

By the way, I love Amazon, no fault of theirs. I just don’t like returning things through the mail and my gut feeling says that it will happen again b/c this is a poorly made game.
