If you have a large family like I do (5 kids still at home), then you know how important it is to save money, even on small things. And that’s exactly what these Wii chargers do.
We used to go through batteries very quickly, and I got tired of paying for them. We’ve used rechargeable batteries before, but they take a long time to recharge and after a while don’t hold a charge for very long.
The Insten chargers were ridiculously easy to set up and use. All we did was hook up the USB connection, wait for them to charge the first time, and we were done.
We keep them plugged in most of the time, so they’re always ready to go. This results in an additional blessing for our household: less frustrated kids who now have no reason to complain that someone else has used up all the battery power.
I know some other reviewers had negative experiences with these chargers, and I feel sorry for them. But so far, they’ve made our lives just a little easier and less expensive.

This devise is a typical example of low quality and un-reliable product. I bought this product for my wii and i was able to use this for 2-3 days when the left recharging dock stopped working. After couple of days the second one stopped working too. Then i threw that out of my window. Total waste of money and time. I am sure most of you reading this will not go for this and spend few bucks more and get a more reliable and better quality product.

For less than $10 (including shipping and handling) I was able to stop buying batteries for our Wii controllers. The controllers charge completely in a few hours and the lights on the charger change from red to blue when finished charging.
The only reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 is because you can’t plug it into a regular outlet. You have to use the USB port on the back of the Wii and the cord isn’t very long…which may influence where you can place the Wii and the charger. I assume you could use another USB port or wall adapter. But for under $10, it does the job and does it well.
