The functionality of the dock makes all the other little pevs not matter. Dock holds Wii perfectly and uses Wii power cable so no need to take up extra plug. Holds 4 controllers and charges them simultaneously. The only things I haven’t liked are the lights on the dock. They aren’t really bright, they are just ugly. If you use the rubber covers they need removed, not a big deal. I went ahead and removed the wrist strap too. And the Wii remotes just rest in the charge spots, not plug in. But none of those things would make it worth not having. Would definately recommend this to anyone with several remotes.

We love this charging station. It works so well AND as an added bonus, it encourages the kiddos to actually keep the wii remotes in a centralized location. So, the late nights when I want to play — the battery is always fully charged AND I don’t have to go searching for them! This purchase was a score for the children and parents alike.

Excellent gift idea!
The price is right and it does everything it says it does. One power cord and the four remotes and the Wii station get juiced up! It has a nice blue glow around the remotes to show they are charged (red when it is charging).
Easy to set up. Take it out of the box, set your Wii and remotes in it… add the power cable you already have for your Wii and WHA-LA!!
I played for over an hour and saw no deterioration in battery life.
if you are looking for a charging station, I strongly recommend this one.

The positive feature about this charger (why my family bought it) is that all four remotes can be right next to the Wii as the charger doubles as a base for the Wii. It worked ok, but we decided to go with an induction charging base instead. The main reason we switched is I prefer having the rubber case on the Wii remotes to protect them. We weren’t going to take the cases on and off to charge with this dock station charger (we were just leaving the cases off the remotes). So we’ve got the remotes on a book shelf away from the Wii/TV and it just takes reminding the kids sometimes to put them back to charge. If you don’t care about having the cases on the remotes or taking them on/off for charging, then this dock will do the job.
For this review I took one star away since we’re ending up not using this charger. I took another one away as our only negative with it was the lights didn’t always seem to match the charge level. By that I mean the charger light would be blue, but the remote was low/out of power. Resetting the remote on the dock got it to charge, and the light turns red while charging. We had a dual remote dock before this one and never had this kind of issue.
